A long standing dream

Welcome to our first blog and thank you for taking the time to read it! Vdub Adventures is the result of Graeme’s  long standing dream to be master of his destiny! A cliched term but one that holds much appeal when you are working long hours and feel like the days are all rolled into one. So the idea of doing something completely different and something he loved was becoming his only focus. The thought of being free to roam the country in a VW camper van was always the ultimate dream and it just became the obvious choice. The idea soon ran away with the both of us and six months later we are the  proud to launch  VDUB Adventures ad along with our beautifully Converted camper vans that you can see on our website.

Graeme’s decided that he wanted the vans to be the best that he could provide in order for people to enjoy the ultimate escape and live the dream. They all boast new engines and brakes to take away all the fears & disappointments of driving unreliable vans.

The first bus we found is a 2014 T5, after hiring one for our own holiday we instantly fell in love, so we eventually bought our own and have had it tastefully converted, and had and the rest is history!

The van is a newer vehicle with loads of upgrade options that make it a great van for the longer trips.

We are based in the world heritage city of Aberdeen, North East Scotland which is a great location to collect your VW camper and to explore and escape to one or more of the many beautiful places that are drivable from here.

We would like to thank everyone involved with making this dream of a VW hire company become a reality. It has been a long time in planning and we are now ready to reveal all.....

Would like to give special thanks to Steven Brown @ Creative Edge Developments who created the website and helped develop our brand & Lottie @ Lottie Norton Design–for her art work and providing designs for our logo.

The big thanks go to you too, the people reading this post, sharing our news and supporting us on Facebook and Twitter. Thank you.

Keep reading our blog to hear all of our news, our trials and triumphs and most importantly, the journeys of our vans through the beautiful county.

We are looking forward to hearing all about the adventures you will have.
