Airstream Restoration: A True Labour of Love!

Imported from America, the Airstream was stripped right back to its chassis before the internal restoration could begin. Evenings and weekends have been poured into rebuilding it piece by piece, supported by a handful of skilled tradespeople who shared our vision of restoring it with care and respect for its original character.

It’s been a real labour of love, with barely a straight line to be found and all the quirks of reviving an iconic relic, but we believe the result is worth it! The classic silver-bullet exterior celebrates its American heritage, while the interior blends vintage charm with modern comfort.

Inside, the Airstream has been redesigned to offer everything you need for a cosy, comfortable stay. Expect warm textures, soft lighting, handcrafted details and clever use of space:

• The living area features comfy sofa seating positioned to make the most of the view, creating a perfect spot to unwind with a book or a cuppa.
• The fully equipped kitchen includes a hob, oven, fridge and generous workspace for relaxed cooking.
• The fixed double bedroom offers a cosy peaceful retreat, while the additional sofa bed provides sleeping space for two more guests
• Compact, well-designed bathroom with shower, toilet and basin

The space is filled with thoughtful details from local makers - ceramics, textiles and small crafted pieces - each adding a little Aberdeenshire creativity to your stay.  It’s all the comfort of home, wrapped in countryside calm.

Local villages with shops, cafés and all essentials are just a short drive away - and within walking distance if you fancy stretching your legs. Slightly further afield you can reach some of the best that Aberdeenshire has to offer from rolling countryside hills to dramatic coastlines. It’ll be the perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and convenient access to everything you might need during your stay.
